Negative: The Front Desk person was less than friendly. I walked up to the desk, didn’t even get a chance to say “Hello” before she coldly snapped without even making eye contact “ Checking In? I need an ID!” And a “ Good day to you too!” She then poorly communicated how the hotel was experiencing a problem with the key system, and that we would only get 1 key per room….and that our key wouldn’t work for the gym or other amenity spaces, and that we would need to come to the front desk and be escorted to get into the gym, etc. She was a grump. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but passing on her bad mood to hotel guests made for a very poor first impression. And YES the single room key was a significant inconvenience. Not much empathy and no reduction to our room bill.
